PROMOTING AND PROTECTING FORB: A UN FOCUS

The United Nations takes a key role in upholding the liberties of religion or belief (FoRB) worldwide. Through legal mechanisms, the UN strives to protect that individuals and groups can to practice their faiths freely and without harassment. Moreover, the UN provides support to states in developing their legal and institutional frameworks for the
